Use of my images

I'm open to the use of my images for various organisations, schools, etc. I generally have a one-off-use fee of NZD $225 for print, NZD $100 for screen (+ GST in NZ) and I'd ask you to agree to a basic contract stating that the image is for a one off event and will not be used for anything else. However, I am open to negotiation for charitlble trusts, etc. This would also state that my name and website be included somewhere near the image. This is a trust situation.

Click on the Paymate button below for payment, after you have contacted me about image availability.

Paintings for investment.

Above all, the best piece of advice I could give with regards to investing in art would be - buy to enjoy! Buy because you have seen a piece of art that you know you can't live without. To me, that's what makes art an investment!

Read comments that some collectors of my work have made have made here.

As far as financial investment goes, buying paintings is certainly an enjoyable alternative to stocks and bonds for people wanting more than just a return on their investments. Like any investment, there is no guarantee that you will make huge profits overnight, but statistics (in New Zealand especially) show that for the wise art buyer who carefully follows the career path of their chosen artist, there is plenty of scope for good financial return on art as a long term investment.

If you have seen a painting on this web site that you are interested in, please contact me either by email or by phone. If the painting is in my studio, or if you want to commission a piece, I will deal directly with you - if the painting you are looking at is with a gallery, I will forward your inquiry to them..
Payments for paintings purchased through me can be made either directly to my account or through Paymate or by cheque if you live in New Zealand.

I'm always more than happy to spread payments for a painting out over three months or so and then send the work to you. If this helps you to secure the piece that you love, we can make it happen!

Shipping is free within New Zealand and I can quote to ship anywhere in the world with DHL express including packaging and insurance.

Technical information

My work is all acrylic painted on museum quality 10 oz. Cotton duck. I finish the paintings with an isolation coat (acrylic gel) which keeps it separate from the solvent based varnish that I then apply. This gives a great finish which is highly UV resistant, helps eliminate scuffing and can be removed (back to the isolation coat) for future restoration. All of the paintings are on a 3 cm deep frame with the paint continuing around the edges.
